Take 1kg of Winter melon fruit, wash and wipe it.
Cut the winter melon into 2 pieces.
Then, Again cut into 4 pieces.
Now we remove the seeds and pulp.
Peel it well.
Poke with a fork to the winter melon pieces.
Cut it to the required size. I cut large pieces
Then Again poke the other sides.
Then wash well.
Dissolve 1 tbsp of slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) in water.
There is a method without adding slaked lime (calcium hydroxide), but this method is easier.
Now add winter melon pieces to the water bowl.
Then let it boil in slaked lime water for 10 hours.
After 10 hours, remove the slaked lime water and wash thoroughly 2 or 3 times.
Then add this pieces to another pot.
Add hot water until the pieces are covered.
Now boil it for 25 - 30 minutes.
After 25 minutes, Remove the water.
Then again add pot and 600g of sugar.
Do this while hot.
Mix and put on the stove.
Now heat it for 5 minutes.
Then turn off the stove and leave it in the sugar syrup for 8 - 9 hours.
After 9 hours, Sugar syrup is well absorbed into the pieces.
Now, remove the pieces from the sugar syrup.
Then add another 100g of sugar to the sugar syrup and mix.
Now turn on the stove and heat it for 3-4 minutes till it foams.
Then, add the winter melon pieces and keep spooning.
After 10 minutes, our Puhul dosi is ready.
Now keep it cooldown.
